I just woke
up alone on an island…

I just woke up alone on an island. The first thing I
see is the ocean; I remember having to jump out of the aeroplane after the
engines died down. This boy called Norman was sitting in front of me on the
plane and he kept bugging me by singing, “We’re going to crash, we’ll crash,
and I’m going to be the only one safe”. We were on our way to Lanzarote. It was
also the middle of the night when the engines died out. The cabin crew was
saying, “Don’t panic” but one member of the cabin crew went crazy shouting
“everyone panic, we’re all going to die” and when passengers heard him they
started to panic too. Norman started shouting, “I was right, I was right!”. My
parents were helping me put on my life jacket and my mask. Then they told me to
go over to the emergency exit, which was two rows in front of me. I did what I
was told to do and then I jumped out into the ocean. It felt weird; the wind
was blowing straight in my face
When I woke up, I
realised that the aeroplane crashing was not a dream. The million-dollar
question is “where am I?” Let me get this straight, I’m on an island, I don’t
know where I am, I don’t know what to do and what can I eat for breakfast. That
last one was at the back of my mind because I was starving. I hope this island
has some kind of edible food other than bugs. Right, I’m going to look for food,
water and someone who can help me. I walked for a while; there was a jungle on
this island. Suddenly, I saw a pair of eyes looking at me. Then a tiger stepped
out of the bushes and I whispered “nice kitty” a good few times. Shockingly the
tiger threw me up onto his back and strode deeply into the forest. Then we came
to a halt and the tiger walked through a bunch of vines. When he prodded
through the vines I saw a ray of sunshine, I saw flowers, parrots, and a chair
(it looked like a chair anyway). The tiger walked towards the chair thingy and
lobbed me down onto it. Suddenly the tiger did a big roar and many animals
gathered around me. Surprisingly, all those animals bowed down before me.
After a few years, all
the animals started worshiping me as if I was a goddess of something. A few
humming birds flew to me and placed a lei of flowers on my head as if it was a crown.
The island was now my home. A few months after I found the animal kingdom, I
was exploring when I found three or four monkeys making some kind of item of
clothing and I asked them “is this dress for me?” Then a monkey nodded like he
understood me and the other monkeys ran up to me and gave me the dress made of
leaves and vines weaved together to make a dress and they had even added some
flowers for decoration. I petted one of the monkeys and said, “thank you” the
monkey just said “oooh aaah” (which I think means “your welcome” in monkey) and
I walked into a cave (that the animals let me live in) and changed out of my
old outfit (which was getting small) and into my new outfit. It felt so
comfortable (well what do you expect; I had been wearing the same jumper, shirt
and trousers for a few years).
One day when I was exploring the
jungle, I saw something bobbing up in the sea. When it came closer, I realised
that it was a boat and there was someone in it. I was anxious to find out who
was in the boat. Were they looking for me? As much as I want to go find my
parents, I love the jungle and all the kind animals who live there. I ran
towards the boat once it got to the sand. There were actually two people in the
boat. Then the people in the boat shouted my name and hugged me tightly. It was
my parents. They found me again. We lived on the island ever since that day.
i'm speechless nicely done ;D
