Make a float plan.

Make sure you know how to navigate.

Do not lean over the edge.

Listen to the captain.

Be sure everyone knows what to do if
someone falls out.
8.
Before sailing, make sure there are no
holes in the boat.
9.
Know the weather.

Stay
alert.
11.
Do not drink alcohol and drive a boat at the
same time.
12.
Take swimming lessons before you go on the Peggy Sue if you do not know how to.
13.
Dress for the water temperature not the air
temperature.
14.
Wear a safety harness.
15.
Stay safe.
